AideTek DM4070 LCR Meter Multimeter Tester: Measure Capacitance, Inductance, Resistance, and Self-Discharge Effortlessly Review

My first LCR measuring device. I couldn't afford it before, it's a very good device. The manufacturer must be very organized and have very attentive and efficient staff to do this at such a reasonable price.

Well designed, easy to use. An indispensable thing for the experimenter, especially when creating switched-mode power supplies or, in my case, welding equipment. It seems accurate enough to shield unknown inductors for various applications. Capacitive mode had high accuracy in all ranges.

Always wanted an inductance meter and this works great. additional resistance and capacitance function. Very handy slots for connecting parts to avoid messing with test leads. With other gauges I always have wrong leads, clamps when I need probes and probes when I need gates. Fast and seems accurate, at least for my home use. I have a metrology degree, so that always worries me.

Very satisfied overall. I just took it out of the shipping envelope and was pleased with what I saw. Good "rubber" case protection and a nice black zippered carry case. The two measuring lines are flexible. The red color I have is a bit defective as it doesn't fully shrink. It won't affect performance and I suspect it's easy to fix once I'm motivated. The display is large, which is very nice. zero as expected. I think the shackle/stand on the back is a bit lighter and I don't think it will last
