Not as Good as Advertised

When I tried this fiber optic cable, I was highly disappointed with the results. Despite boasting great signal quality, it failed to live up to its promises and my experience with this cable was a total letdown. Pros: It's made of durable materials. Cons: Doesn't deliver results as advertised.

Pros
  • High-speed data transfer with 18Gbps bandwidth
Cons
  • Potential signal loss over long distances

When it comes to getting this cable to work with a Samsung 4K TV, this cable works exactly as expected. I even tried sending video to a field video monitor with my MacBook Pro and that works too. But when I used it to send video from my iPad Pro to the same video monitor, I didn't receive any video. I can't tell if the problem is with the iPad or the dongle I'm using, but it doesn't stream video to the monitor. I used a different HDMI cable which sent video to the monitor with no problems.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Something else

Make sure to connect in the right direction

Ok I set it up the first time and it didn't work. I was very annoyed as I needed the length because my cable box was stuck in one place. But when I wrapped it back up, I noticed that "Source" was written on one of the ends. I realized I connected it wrong. Once connected to the correct ends it works great. I had to unwind it before use and straighten the cord a bit. This is a thin cable and should keep the spiral shape it comes in, but being so long it gets tangled easily. It's actually longer…
