Kettle for boiling water. Within 2 weeks the first one could not be turned off. The company did not respond to multiple requests for a return authorization. Despite repeated requests, Revain did not send either. The second lasted a few more weeks, and then the lights went out first, but it still boiled and only went out for a few days, then didn't work at all. Cheap, poorly made, not fit for purpose.

Firstly, this kettle has a design flaw - a plastic window for water inspection. This plastic component makes boiled water smell and taste like PLASTIC. The worst thing about this deficiency is that the quality of the boiled water becomes poor. Filtered tap water in my kitchen has a rating of 6. Boiled filtered water in this kettle has a water quality rating of 12. So it's an unhealthy kettle. Last but not least, it will NOT turn off automatically when the water boils.

I ordered this teapot as a gift. When my aunt received the box, the Revain outer packaging was fine. The lid of the inner box with the teapot was deformed. And when she opened the inner box, the entire inside of the box and the manual was covered in black mold. I am so disappointed. My aunt had already thrown the moldy box away - she wanted it out.
