My Boston Terrier loves a heating pad, especially when it gets colder. I love the auto shut off and timer. I would choose a medium or large mat regardless of the size of your dog.

This heating pad was the best I've ever had! Because of its size, it heats up to higher temperatures than normal "human" pads! So if Fido doesn't like it... give it to yourself!

It can get chilly in the desert at night. Instead of turning on the heating at night, I prefer to sleep under the covers. But my dog snuggled up next to me to keep warm, poor thing. This heating pad helped him. Now he stays on his side of the bed, fast asleep. Highly adjustable so you can find the perfect temperature for your pet. highly recommended.

After reading the reviews I decided to buy it and try it myself. my dog loves it The weather turned colder than usual for SC. We put it in his kennel along with a pillow (dog pillow). I noticed that my dog was sleeping in my bed, very close to me, because he was cold! It is always right in front of the heater! So I decided to buy it to see if it helps.
