The tape is not strong at all. The first fell off in less than a day. The other one is still on, but every time the door opens and closes the hinges make a noise that catches my daughter's attention and makes her want to put her hand through the hinge.

I am impressed with the quality of the material and it was easy to install, instructions included. But as I suspected, the tape didn't last more than a day, so I screwed one side to the door frame and the other to the door - a few holes better than a child's broken fingers.
