This fan has met all my expectations. I use it in my living/dining room although it is intended for commercial/industrial use. My apartment has very high "cathedral" ceilings that hot air rises up and gets trapped making air conditioning too expensive to be practical. I only use it as an exhaust fan on the sliding door to the balcony. When I turn it on, I can feel air rushing through the windows of distant rooms in the apartment.
