This fan is much better finished than the fans you see in most stables. This is the usual size for a bungee on a sturdy grid. But most people buy cheaper devices. This one looks like it will last slightly longer than its higher price point. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy a device that costs more money but is of higher quality.

This fan works great. I hung it in the corner of my screened patio. I live in Florida and it's currently 93 degrees outside. You sit outside with a 2/3 fan and feel great. The only downside to the fan is that it doesn't rotate left and right. I had to mount the fan at an angle so that it faced the center of the room. I would suggest getting a friend to help you install it. In total, he weighs about 25 kilos. It's not easy to do alone, but it's possible.

Of the two fans ordered, one has noticeable vibration at low speed. (Hopefully this doesn't affect the motor in the long run.) The wall bracket is supplied without mounting hardware.

I live by the sea and they live behind our house in our goat pen so they don't get direct salt air. They lasted 2 years and rusted. We cleaned them and painted them with Rustoleum to give them more life. Guide chains lasted a few months and we have since replaced and repaired them. However, we bought 2 more and I have no regrets. 2 years is a lifetime for something that isn't made of marine grade stainless steel to last in the salty air.

I bought this for my garage for the Florida heat and to blow away mosquitoes. I knew it would be a compromise to have a fan that is louder but moves more air as opposed to a quiet household fan. I'm happy with the performance for an 18" fan, 7400 cfm! I used a wall mount to mount it on the ceiling which is an option in the instructions. I bought two of these to circulate some air in the basement when it's wet. These fans are very powerful, extremely durable and great overall value. The plating, laces, clasps - everything is strong and durable, it seems enough for a wet room. Zero corrosion in the wet cell for a year.
