Review on 💨 Black Air King 9518 18-Inch Industrial Grade Wall Mount Fan, 1/6-HP by Courtney Johnson

I bought two of these to circulate some air in the basement when it's wet. These fans are very powerful, extremely durable and great overall value. The plating, laces, clasps - everything is strong and durable, it seems enough for a wet room. Zero corrosion in the wet cell for a year. Two (low mounted) is more than enough to move around a 60 x 30 x 5 foot area. BUT one of the two is slightly unbalanced internally and vibrates slightly at regular short intervals during operation. The second fan does not. The fans are in a fixed position, very securely attached to the 2" x 6" rafters and do not touch. The mounting bracket allows you to rotate manually. The tremor is slight but clearly a built in balance issue. This can be annoying depending on how/where it is installed. All fans wear out and I believe they will last a very long time and pay for themselves. It took me several weeks to diagnose the source of the tremors and I decided to live with it as it took too long and they were very heavy and expensive to ship. If you get one with a bit of judder, you might not notice all of this depending on where you mount it, and you still get a very solid, powerful, and durable fan that might not be as quiet as you'd like. If a little vibration isn't an issue and you need a 90W fan then look no further as this product certainly delivers. As excellence and value don't usually go well together, I think 4/5 stars is a fair rating.
