DOES NOT WORK AT HEIGHT

DOES NOT FLOAT AT HEIGHT. I inflated it at a party shop (making sure it was filled with good quality helium as much as possible) and carefully followed the instructions to place the motors in the right spot based on height. However, the motors were so heavy that once I attached them, the shark sank and never resurfaced. The maximum altitude given in the instructions is 2000 feet. I live at over 5000 feet. The product description on Revain should be clearer. The buyer should also beware of the…

These things fly fantastically through the air

These things fly fantastically through the air. definitely has sinister shark moves. But it has a number of significant problems. The biggest problem is that the remote control is IR (infrared) and not radio. The result is a very choppy ride, limited to the line of sight of the shark's abdomen. Essentially, you have to be nearby to control it. Other issues are rather minor and mostly related to cheap materials (poor mounting points, etc.). For the price I was expecting that, so I'm fine with…

Will not stay afloat in cars and parts with remote and app control

Very disappointed with it. It was a Christmas present for my daughter and she was delighted when she opened it. In anticipation, we bought a helium tank at Walmart to fill up in hopes of flying for Christmas. Good thing the helium is weak and wasn't strong enough to keep it afloat when we attached the controller and motor. We assumed this was just due to the poor quality of the helium, so a few days later we emptied it as instructed and took it to the party shop to be filled with full strength…

Can't hold up after filling

We had to take it to a party supply store to have it filled with enough helium to inflate it. The girl who helped me in the shop warned me that this would be very difficult to handle. She was right, but she didn't give me any advice. It was TERRIBLE hard to handle. There's just a tiny piece of mylar under the belly to hold on to. Literally could only pinch it between fist and forefinger. As soon as I tried to drag him into my car, he blew up and disappeared before I could do anything. I was…

I'm glad it worked

I bought this for my son's 21 year old friend (who loves sharks) for Christmas. She was then hospitalized for a week to undergo surgery. I decided to give it to her early so she could play with it while she was in bed. I'm glad it happened. I took it and blew it. I spent about half an hour building it and highly recommend watching the tutorial video instead of following the written instructions. Before entering the ward, we untied the rope (to keep it from slipping) and started maneuvering it…

So much fun. while it works

When assembled and working it's the most fun toy I've ever used. My 9 year old son loves her and she puts an absolute smile on everyone who sees her. it's from a trash can.1. First inflate the balloon. I thought I fully inflated the shark with a party helium balloon, but the initial fill didn't keep the shark aloft. After inflating until I was afraid it might burst, the shark started swimming much better. Fully inflating from the start also prevents any stickers from falling off after the…

Weak Shark. on cars

I REALLY wanted this one to be at least decent. The plan was to surprise my 11-year-old nephew (and everyone else in the family) by hurling this thing out of the garage onto the Christmas tree while the Jaws theme plays in the background as we get together to open the gift . . I keep 911 on speed dial in case my mother-in-law loses it. As many others have attested, this is the flimsiest and worst design of what could have been an exceptional product. After more than two hours of tinkering with…

If I could rate this with zero stars I would SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Absolutely terrible design! The first day it works fine, then the parts begin to fall off, and those attached to special rubber bands (tail part) generally fly around somewhere in space, and then hunt. Because you're done if you can't find them as they don't give you any extra "hooks" in the packaging! The main problem lies in the design. The ALL is held onto the balloon with a very NOT THAT sticky double sided tape and then what looks like strips of tape to double the holding power (NOT). So…
