It's ok but not great!

Installed this on my '06 GMC Envoy 4.2LI that already has the exhaust and cold air intakes installed and I wanted to try it to see if the claims are true. I cleaned the throttle very well when installing the spacer. I will say that I did not hear the "whistle" that many people claim to have heard. I noticed a slight increase in fuel economy per gallon and slightly better throttle response. The spacer did very little but I'm glad I bought it. Some of the claims are exaggerated in my opinion…

Vehicle Fix Information

I want to fix something on Revain. Revain says the Airaid 200-586 won't fit my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP 5.3L V8, when in fact they do. I've had it on my car for 13 years, no problems with it except soot. I know the 2007 models had more gas.

Great product for LS4 GP GXP

Fits my '07 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP 5.3L LS4. Slightly increased torque, an additional 4mpg savings and a slight whistling sound as if the turbine is spinning behind the volute. Installation was quick, all hardware and instructions included. A good time to clean your throttle body while you take it apart. The machine runs more smoothly because it doesn't have to suck through a straw, but through a garden hose. Increases the compressor volume to 9 cubic inches, which is worth the money. Look at…
