AirCat 6520 Composite Reversible Cut Off Review

I have several AirCat tools and they are all good quality and this one is no different. I found it lacked power compared to my electric RotoZip when attempting to cut hardened steel wheel studs. However, given the nature of air tools, this is not that surprising. Still a good tool in my arsenal.

I've used several cutting tools, ranging from cheap to super expensive. It falls towards the top, but priced in the middle. It works really well and is easy to use. I added a whip at the end so I can bend it to almost any angle and pretty tight angles. I installed a diamond studded metal cutting wheel and have no regrets. This thing just slices and slices. I don't know if I will go for the double sided version again but I will buy this brand without hesitation.

Factory output of these tools is 0.5 HP. (1/2 HP). It's pretty easy to search and find out on the Aircat website. This is not a fake review like many air tools. This tool is a handful. I argued between it and the 6505, which is quiet, has a nicer trigger, but isn't reversible. I decided that the reverse option is more important.
