I'm totally against writing a negative review but I installed the pump, it kicked on and unfortunately it didn't lift the car an inch. Turn on the Arnott pump and the car rose off the garage floor like a helium balloon. Double work for a 65-year-old man.

Had to replace the Airmatic compressor but couldn't bring myself to pay the MB dealer price for something so easy to fix. The pump arrived in excellent condition and I was pleased to find it was the updated solid tubing style. Replacing the old one with the new one took about 15 minutes and it worked straight away with no issues.

The air spring pump broke on an old Benz and I didn't want to spend a long buck on an original Mercedes pump so I found this one. After reading other reviews I decided to give it a try. It was packaged very carefully and looked just like the original. All plugs and channels fit perfectly. Installed like the original. It was quiet on first launch and had the suspension pressurized in seconds. The old woman lives on a small budget for a few more years.

The Airmatic suspension constantly needs an air compressor to meet the demands of everyday driving. These air compressors wear out and are fairly easy to replace. If you start getting a car and an up arrow on the dash and NO sag in the corner of the car due to a blown airbag, the problem could be a compressor that is out of specification due to wear or bad air line. . I once had a damaged air line that needed fixing, so don't overlook the lines if you suspect the compressor is at fault.
