Great add-on for installing Airthings

The Airthings hub is great because it's SmartLink with all Airthings -Sensors connected (900MHz) instead of Bluetooth (2.4GHz). The range of SmartLink is much greater and the hub updates the data automatically. Really great because I no longer need to be in Bluetooth range with my phone. I can be anywhere in the house or even away from home checking things out! The only thing I would like is for the hub to be Wi-Fi, the hub needs an ethernet connection to work. If the hub had WiFi enabled, that

Pros
  • 24/7 access to your air quality data with the addition of an Airthings hub
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Excellent product and first class technical support

Airthings detectors and cloud hub I wanted to share my experience. I first bought several mold and radon detectors and they worked great. Very easy to set up and pretty accurate. I soon had a decent amount of mold and radon detectors, so I decided to buy a hub to connect these devices and allow for continuous monitoring and remote access. Overall, these devices worked flawlessly and enhanced our ability to proactively monitor environmental issues in our home. In addition, the customer serviceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • ONLINE DATA: Airthings Hub keeps your radon and air quality monitors always connected to your network via ethernet and power cables
Cons
  • Not as bulky as other options

There seems to be a lot of confusion as to why Airthings sensors don't have Wi-Fi. My options, but having WiFi, while easier, drains the battery or requires more frequent battery charging/swapping, and users complain of connection loss (similar to webcams/security cameras). the possibility to dim or turn off the LED). The thickness of the hub is quite acceptable, and the device does not heat up. Below is a similar review I posted for the Wave Plus sensor. I was originally just looking for aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • LARGE DISTRIBUTION: Low power consumption, long distance connectivity allows distribution of up to 10 Airthings monitors across a large building or home with a single hub.
Cons
  • New Competitors Arrive
