For the price it works really well. People sitting in close proximity either see a completely dark screen or a screen so dark they can't read my screen. I don't see why you need $50 when this one works just as well.

Cons: Doesn't prevent people sitting behind you from seeing your screen. There are some protectors that give those behind you the 'sunglasses' effect. This protector doesn't. Overall it does its job without other people seeing your work and it fits perfectly!

the price is average as far as I can see It darkens the screen and imposes a matte texture (no complaint) but the text is clear and legible. I guess my advice is if you're doing graphic work, remove it. Viewing angles are as advertised and the magnets seem to stick.

There are several other screens on the market that cost a lot more if this one works perfectly. Save some money and go with it. It's easy to remove, so you don't have to use it all the time and others can't copy your class notes.
