good product! highly recommended

I believe this is an OEM product. Easy installation, and the sinking feeling is gone. Pressure compared to my previous (stock) is almost the same. I would buy again if my truck lasted that long for another replacement. good product Aisin!

  • very impressive
Cons
  • vulgarity

Broken part on clutches and parts

This item needs to be returned but I don't see how to return it. I'm writing this review as TOTAL FAILURE because this clutch master cylinder won't engage, it's somehow stuck rendering it inoperable. I ordered another one and have to return the first one.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Quality

Get it and get it right the first time.

This is the same as OEM for my 1st generation tacos. Don't mess with Autozone/O'Rilly imitations. I spend way too much time installing and replacing them after a few thousand miles. Take it easy and get it right the first time.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Fits 1996 Tacoma 4x4 with 3.5L engine

I checked some cheap master cylinders at my local auto parts store and they turned out to be junk. Even when new, they weren't as smooth as these. It was easier to bleed (not sure why) and easier to adjust. It's not that much more expensive than the cheap versions, so the extra cost is worth the time you spend replacing the cheap versions.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not sure

Buy this. for Transmission and Transmission

99 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L 4wd. Don't think you're saving money by buying a cheap master cylinder. They are easy to install yourself. The so-called mechanic installed the one I just replaced. He assured me it was from a local Toyota dealer. Not right. I couldn't find the brand on the replaced one. Aisin and Denso and of course OE seem to be your best choices when replacing parts on an old Toyota.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Drill Kit

I have had my truck for about 25 years and often drive it on the road. I had to change this clutch master cylinder several times. I could never find a yoke that went through my truck's firewall. I would end up installing the master cylinder and then crawl under the dash to connect the fork. It doesn't seem like much, but the older I get the harder it gets. This block fits the way it's meant to fit. The fork can be fixed before installing the master cylinder. Not sure what else is different, but

Bleeding is a matter of five minutes without special tools!

I purchased this and an Aisin CRT-014 slave cylinder to replace original parts on my 1996 Toyota T100. They fit perfectly and work well. I reused an old hydraulic line. I just drained the fluid, removed and replaced parts, added DOT3 brake fluid and bled the line. When reconnecting the hydraulic line, I made sure the nuts fit snugly into the internal threads without using excessive force. Bleeding the line was also fairly easy, it was a one man job and took about 5 minutes with no special tools

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Will be added later
