Floating ring set. To demonstrate like magnetic poles repels each other by placing three or more ring magnets. Comprises five colored ring magnets magnetized parallel to the axis, equipped with an acrylic rod mounted on a non-magnetic plastic base. Measures 32-millimeters outside diameter by 18-millimeters inside diameter by 6-millimeters height.

Surprising Floating Magnet Performance

As someone new to the world of magnets, I wasn`t sure what to expect from this kit. When I tried this Industrial and Scientific floating magnet ring I was amazed by its strength and magnetic force. It was easy to assemble and a great addition to my science education collection. The only con was that it wasn't as durable as I hoped, but overall an impressive product. .

  • Provides a simple and visual way to demonstrate buoyancy and density.
Cons
  • Difficult to accurately measure heights as the ring wobbles and moves around in the water.

Mmmm, it's a little smaller than expected. It is only about 5 inches tall and comes with only 3 rings. The paint on the rings is cracked, received today. Otherwise it's amazing
