Great headphones for what they were designed for

Ok this review is simply for what these headphones were designed for. using Bluetooth with my iPhone. The sound profile is excellent and balanced. That's what you'd expect from AKG. I had first generation Beats and they just blew them away. I'm not sure if the new Beats have finally changed their sonic signature, but I'm very happy with how they sound. These aren't professional or audiophile headphones, and frankly, if you're planning on streaming music from your phone, you're wasting money on…

Pros
  • Beautiful looks
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

The AKD rating @ 1 star is unfair but

I have two pairs of AKG headphones that I have used for several years (Q701over-ear and Q450 wired on-ear) and I have an AKG Y500 Wireless bought to offer a certain versatility. So I had the opportunity to compare the AKGY500 to two pairs I already own. I found - through repeated comparison - that the Y500 was significantly inferior to the Q701 and Q450, even when listening to a wired connection. I also experienced poor connection when using the Y500 in wired mode. The Y500s were very well…

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Best value for money on-ear headphones!

After much research I decided on the Y500. I liked that they are under $100, have long battery life and a good mic for video calls. I'm also a fan of akg's setup and their sound profile. I wasn't interested in ANC as I have a Bose QC20 that I use for travel. The Y500 has great sound isolation and might make it on my next international trip as it's small in the included holdall. The sound is great! I switched to the AAC codec in Note20 and it changed the world. They have great bass and clear…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Good headphones 🎧-

First of all, I am very happy that these headphones come in different colors. They're light, comfortable, and produce decent sound. Connection via Bluetooth was not a problem. Loads super fast! The sound is excellent, I would like it to be louder, but it works well. The buttons are small and convenient. If you have an ambient sound button, it sounds like you're underwater. The instructions are too small. The charging cable is not interchangeable. I wish there was an app for these headphones…

  • Decent performance

Best value for money on-ear headphones!

After much research I decided on the Y500. akg setup and its sound profile. I wasn't interested in ANC as I have a Bose QC20 that I use for travel. Travel bag included. The sound is great! I switched to the AAC codec in Note20 and it changed the world. They have great bass and clear, distinct highs. They're great for video calls and I get compliments on the clarity of the mic. The battery is amazing and they can last you a week of moderate daily use without having to charge them. a wired option

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not the best

Amazing new headphone features!

I like some features of these headphones that I haven't seen on other brands, like the pause function when it feels like you've taken the headphones off and put them on. If you pick it up again and put it on your head, the program starts again. This is a very cool feature! However, I have the feeling that these headphones always slip off my head. Not sure how to fix this other than getting a set that fits over the ear instead of over the ear. Pairing the headphones was very easy and didn't take

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • There are some nuances
