I bought this "AKOAK Pack of 2 Push Down Empty Lockable Pump Dispenser Bottle for Nail Polish and Makeup Remover" looking for something to use for alcohol in my bathroom could use and for acetone in my garage. I used the first bottle of rubbing alcohol and was very satisfied. It doesn't leak and seems to hold a seal well as it doesn't evaporate. The pumping mechanism works clearly and smoothly. I haven't taken the time to try this with acetone, but I suspect it works just as well as alcohol…

More than I thought. in the best case! I use them to remove nail polish as I do gel nails myself. Much easier than unscrewing the lid. One thing I don't like is that you have to twist the cap to unlock the pump. While it makes sense, I keep forgetting, and when I close the lid and press down, the nail polish remover squirts in and out. I'm sure I'll get into the habit of locking it before closing the lid, so it's not that big of a deal. just a note. Love her.

I wish I had bought something better, these containers leak every solution placed in them, one does not pump completely, the other seems to come out in 1 week and the lid doesn't prevent grout or anything from coming out, let alone twisting and breaking. An absolute disappointment in the quality and design of these products.

Update: One of the bottles still doesn't close and is leaking on the sides. I use them for acetone and alcohol. I will say that the locking mechanism is questionable. I tried to lock it and the transparent cover detached from the black part. I was able to put it back and block it; it is not mounted securely. But it does the job for the price.

Too much plastic has accumulated on the inside of the bottle neck, making it difficult to pour out the last drops of liquid and dry the bottles. The top of the pump otherwise looks fine, although the straw doesn't reach all the way to the bottom.

The pump works great and I haven't noticed any problems with the acetone in the bottle. The locking mechanism is amazing and even kept my bottle on its side at times. There was no leakage or clouding of the plastic. Pump operation is smooth and easy to control. I love it, will never come back.

These bottles seemed perfect at first glance I liked them, they're cute I filled one with 100% acetone and removed the other. I left the acetone standing in the bottle for a few days and everything was great, no spills and nothing weird happened to the bottle... it fell apart after the 2nd use! It just arrived half an hour ago and I already like it. I saw something similar yesterday at the doctor's office and asked about it. The nurse told me what to look for, I did, next day delivery and I'm happy. I filled it with alcohol, bought a small handkerchief that I use for glasses and everything worked great. I've blacked out and disinfected remotes, keyboards, and every switch and doorknob in the house. Maybe it's too early to rate it, but if all goes well maybe it won't disappoint you…
