I had to return a half size up but I never checked the size chart so that was my fault. We ordered a pair for my oldest son and another for my youngest son. We LOVE these hiking sandals! I bought these for my 4 year old who is very active! They are very easy to put on and take off with velcro which is great because she can do it herself. They are very well padded both on the sole and around the entire shoe, so no blisters. In the spring and summer we go hiking a lot and go to the beach and there is water in many places.
