DOESN'T WORK - WILL RUIN THE FABRIC!

I've spent a lot of time researching different textile glues and reading reviews - I had to believe the negative reviews about this glue! The bottle came with a glued tip and I had to cut off the tip to open it (had to stop there!). I followed the instructions exactly, tried fabric-to-fabric glue (polyester) and also appliquΓ©s to fabric (cotton). The glue didn't stick at all and left greasy stains on the fabric, so I'm worse off now than I was before I started this project. Thank goodness for…

Perfect for renovating a lounger

I bought this as part of my lounger renovation. We have two people, two kennels, so our once new sofa showed heavy signs of wear after the first few years. Clumpy, sparse back cushions, a noticeable sagging gap in the center of the seat and tears in the skirt from raising two puppies. I stuffed the back cushions and throw pillows with polythene filler, reinforced the seat cushions with quilting, and attached the torn skirt with this permanent fabric glue. Added some new throw pillows, it's…

Works as expected

I used this to mend 2 pairs of my favorite jeans to give them that ripped jean look that cost a few hundred dollars in designer stores. This glue works well but needs time to dry/cure. I applied some pressure to the materials on a flat, hard surface (I put some heavy books and a pallet on top). After about 12 hours the seal was tight! This glue works well. Just follow the directions (wash and dry your materials first and don't use dryer sheets as the oil from the dryer sheets in your clothes…

It didn't work for me

After reading reviews of similar products and looking for a permanent adhesive with flexibility I unfortunately decided on this product. I tried to tape the excess fabric (1/4" to 3/8") to the inseam of the upholstery for the backs of the dining room chairs I was restoring. The original stock I replaced because it ripped had the insides of the seams sealed with a still tacky adhesive that was 19 years old. I guessed it was glued in such a way that there weren't any lumps along the seam at the…
