I used this to mend 2 pairs of my favorite jeans to give them that ripped jean look that cost a few hundred dollars in designer stores. This glue works well but needs time to dry/cure. After reading reviews of similar products and looking for a permanent adhesive with flexibility I unfortunately decided on this product. I tried to tape the excess fabric (1/4" to 3/8") to the inseam of the upholstery for the backs of the dining room chairs I was restoring.
