☕ Alessi Ossidiana MT18/3 Stovetop Espresso Maker - Cast Aluminium and Thermoplatic Resin, 3 Cup Capacity Review

I have about 5 other express cars from Alessi. This one is very attractive, but the quality is much worse than the older models.

In terms of design it's quite stylish, it also makes very good espresso on the stovetop. Unfortunately it's too small; Only one cup can be brewed at a time (sold as a 3 cup capacity).

Bought this for my family for Christmas - we made great coffee to start the day. I've read many blogs about the do's and don'ts of using these pots, so the work is ongoing. Loved the size and style - very happy with it

It's not just for show. As beautiful as this Alessi object is, it would be a mistake to leave it on the shelf just to look at. It works just as well as my Bialetti espresso on the stove and looks good too. Of course there are cheaper options, but IMHO if you have something and need to set aside valuable bench space for it, then this can be nice.

Always buy Moka espresso machines from Alessi, well made, durable and great coffee. I have 4 at home so I bought another one. About 5 weeks after purchase. The water didn't quite rise so the coffee was terrible. I try to fix it, change the gasket, close it very tight, but the problem persists. I've only used it 4 times and haven't been able to use it again or get my money back. Dissatisfied. Very hard to recommend
