These are not surf shorts, they are more like swim shorts, they are very tight and cling to the body like bike shorts. I chose the size larger for 5'2 175 and thought about trying the larger size. A helpful vote for my review is greatly appreciated.

I recently realized that I could avoid the awfully feminine look that comes with summer swimwear by choosing a style that was a bit more covering. Boys shorts are ugly cut in my opinion.
