Super small, super worthy!

Easy enough! Throw away the old drive and come in with a new one. It turned out even smaller than I expected. I just installed it, so I don't know about the long-term life yet.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great for storage

got this for my MacBook Pro because they claim the new MacBook is soldered. I have a soldered generation so I got it and replaced my SSD with a 512GB one and it has been working great for a few months now.

Pros
  • even old
Cons
  • understandable There are new competitors

Worked great with Mac Mini 2014 with Intel 6 SSD - 1TB

Worked great with Mac Mini 2014 and Intel 6 PCIe 3.0*4 M.2 80mm SSD. After installation, you need to initialize and format the drive. I used APFS. My Mac OS version is 10.14.6

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • For old

Works with MBP 13 A1708 2017 No Touchpad

I first tried the NGFF adapter which didn't work with the Sabrent m.2 drive. This worked right away. It's fairly easy to install, and I'm very glad to be free (at least partially) of Apple's OEM stranglehold.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Vulgarity

NOT compatible with A1707.

I have read carefully and the description clearly says the following: • "Compatible with: 2016/2017 13" MacBook Pro A1708 A1707 A1706." NOTE: **A1707** is part of this List. Although there is little doubt that it can work with other models, it does not and CANNOT work with the A1707 as the storage for this MacBook Pro is soldered to the motherboard. There is no removable hard drive or spare option. I have that Found out AFTER I bought the adapter and sent it back.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • confused

You want this update

Using a 1TB hard drive, adding a PCIe drive, and booting your Mac Mini off that new drive is like buying a new computer. The speed boost is incredible. Make sure in advance that you have a port on your computer to plug in this card and you should be up and running in about an hour.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • The list will be long.

NOT compatible with A1707.

I have read carefully and the description clearly says the following:• "Compatible with: 2016/2017 13" MacBook Pro A1708 A1707 A1706. "NOTE: **A1707** is part of this listing. .While there is no doubt that it may work with other models, it does not and CANNOT work with the A1707 as the memory for this MacBook Pro is attached to the Motherboard is soldered. There is no removable drive or spare option. I found that out AFTER I bought an adapter and sent it back.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • I will add later
