This is by far the best ice pack I've tried. It stays flexible even in the cold and hugs the body so well. The plastic feels very hard so I'm not worried about it cracking. I haven't tried heating it yet, but it's good that there is such an opportunity.

Stays really flexible even when completely frozen. The plastic is thin but strong and flexible at all temperatures. I've had many poor quality ice packs that are hard, tear, or leak when cold. Has "Made in USA" gone from the label? It worries me but the quality is similar to what I've been using for almost 3 years.

Wife uses this daily because of health problems. She loves it very much and it's one of the best we've seen. Unfortunately, repeated use and heat/cooling will cause the plastic on both packs we ordered to become a little brittle/brittle and leak. Plastic isn't perfect, so you can put it in a big, smooth bag for a while. Just note that you may need to replace them once a year if they are used frequently. I would still buy it again.

Last December I had palmar and carpal tunnel surgery. When the time came, I had physical therapy for two months. I had a lot of homework to do and needed a cold compress to reduce the swelling and pain. This all time pack was exactly what I needed, in fact very similar to what I have used in my therapy sessions. It's very cold but not hard or hard (like a block of ice) and wraps around my wrist and hand easily. I got 15 min on/off and cold compress lasted over an hour. I'm almost at 100% now…
