They're really cute and great for blonde hair, but my daughter has dark hair and it didn't come out as often as we'd hoped. You could see it a little, but her hair is pretty dark. Her friend has blonde hair and it was very evident in her hair. I think it's really cute and I totally understand that the colors don't show up well on dark hair. but you could see it a bit so it wasn't a total waste. she was still having fun.

Delivered very quickly, hair chalk is easy to apply and works great! I was skeptical because the price of the product was so low. But he did exactly what my daughter wanted. And it's easy to rinse off! Highly recommended for daughters who want highlights or color in their hair, but parents will be happy because it's VERY temporary! And I was glad that the kids can use it themselves because it's so easy! Surprised how quickly the seller sent the goods.

Color and instructions were good. However, the sponge inside came off within the first minute or two of application. It's not very easy to use when that happens. I ended up having to take a makeup sponge and apply chalk, resulting in a duller look. This was for a Halloween costume so it's not a big deal but I would use a different product next time.

Very disappointed. I watched a video showing how easy it is! But it's cheap. The instructions warn you several times about "color transfer" and it's true - color spreads to your skin and clothes and can stain unsuitable furniture, so be careful. My hair fell out every time I tried to push it through the compact. If you don't press hard enough, the paint won't stick. I bought a few boxes to put in gift bags but sent them back because I would be embarrassed to give them away.

You really should read the directions before you just apply it to your hair. They state that it's good to dampen the hair with a conditioner spray and then run the chalk through the hair. That works great! The blue and violet colors are very vivid.

I received these four containers in a plain white box with a photocopy of the instructions. Obviously they have been used before. One of the discs was very difficult to open and flew across the room when I finally opened it. I couldn't open one of the others at all. One had a nail mark and the powder was in the box when I opened it. They look like big compact eyeshadows and you could probably achieve the same thing with a sponge and pink/blue eyeshadow. I have a drawer full of old eye shadows…

I used it on vacation. The color worked well on my auburn hair and washes out easily that evening. My hair is colored, I'm not sure if that or the darkness of my hair has an impact. There are sponges on the inside of the container that seem to snag the first few uses and then curl up each time, making it difficult to use.
