Disappointing valve for automotive needs

The rubber valve failed to meet expectations, causing air leaks and poor performance. However, it was fairly easy to install. Overall, not a reliable choice for tire and wheel parts.

Pros
  • High-quality rubber construction provides durability and longevity.
Cons
  • May deteriorate over time and require replacement.

Fits my 2001 Jeep alloy wheels.

Last year I installed steel shafts in the wheels. On my first ride on the trail, the Jeep slid a little sideways and buckled. It didn't leak, but I could see the steel bars were a bad idea. Replaced with these and it's great. They're a little shorter than the regular ones, but I like that.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Some little things

oversized? - Tires and wheels

They seem to be too big. The diameter of the stem where it sits in the rim is approximately .60" and is said to fit a .453" bore. The first one I tried to pull out got a big piece of rubber. Steering wheel. The second broke the installation tool and damaged the rubber. I used spray lube but it's too big to fit through the hole. Also, they seem to be quite well made. It turned out that the problem was in the wheels. There was a sharp edge on the back of the holes that cut into the valve stem…

Pros
  • Valve stems and caps
Cons
  • Something else
