Car Battery Tester has digital LCD display, easy to read the measurement result. With backlight, it makes easy to read in low light areas. suitable for testing automotive battery tester, lead-acid batteries it can test. Battery Voltage Meter is mainly used to measure battery terminal voltage and internal resistance.There is no limit to the capacity of the battery. Adopt four-wire method which helps to ensure the accuracy of the measured value.To ensure that the test probe is in good contact, and then the surface of the tested battery can not have oxidation phenomenon, or the measured value will be much larger than the actual value. It is applicable for measurement of internal resistances of Lithium-ion, nickel-hydroxide, lithium-manganese cells or assembled battery. Ensure probing steadily on batteries terminals(make sure the + - right). The testing result will be greatly influenced if there is any oxidation problem on the tested battery surface.Battery: 9V battery, 6F22 or equivalent, 1 piece (Not Provided by Seller).

Seems to work as advertised.

The meter shows different internal resistances for different batteries and a high internal resistance for batteries that are known to be defective. No idea to be exact. Battery voltage mode is 0.1V higher than calibrated multimeters.

It is useful to check some characteristics of the battery. Useful and affordable price.

This tester is also designed to test low resistance items that only a few multimeters can handle. It doesn't work with resistive loads, which have significant reactance, but that wasn't the main feature of this meter, just a "bonus". Works well enough but does not replace a laboratory instrument. But a lab quality tool is going to cost you $$$$$!

Works great with AC power. Internal Resistance

This tester measures the internal resistance of a battery using the AC method only. It works great as I found that one of my battery packs has high internal resistance and is defective. But I already knew that as it would die after a short use. The resistance was more than 2000 ohms, which is a lot, but the voltage was good and even the charger liked it. Normal good batteries will have a resistance of less than 200 ohms or less depending on the type of battery being tested.
