What you need: Spare parts

Originally intended for 4l60/80e .l bought for a 6l80e pump Replacing the wing nut with a regular nut allowed it to be used on the specified gearbox

You get what you pay for

The wing nut used to tighten the clamp is too large to fully tighten the clamp. You'll need to put some washers under the nut so they don't get in the way of the band when properly tightened.

Incorrect assembly for gearbox and gearbox

The product was originally assembled incorrectly. The threaded rod must be rotated in the opposite direction to allow the wing nut to be tightened. Because it is not properly rotated, you will not be able to tighten the nut enough to complete the alignment of the pump body.
