This connector simply doesn't work. Computers need reliable internal components, and as my tests showed, this release connector does not provide that. The only positive aspect is its design; it looks sleek and modern. However, the cons far outweigh the pros in this case. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more dependable connector.

This review is for Alphacool part number 17440 - for the record I am a huge fan of Alphacool products. But not at this point. Until you read the FULL description it's not so obvious that this is only 1/2 of the set. $46 + tax for BOTH halves, making this fast connection expensive. This is a great quick connector for PC cooling. I have used them on 2 of my PCs. screwed directly into the water block, radiator or tank with a G1/4 thread. You need to buy the other pairing side separately. I thought it was worth it.
