The device that was delivered to me did not work, so I am about to return it. I bought the same model from Crutchfield and it was an acceptable amp. There isn't much power, but it cleans the sound well.

I already had an iLX-W650 but wanted more clarity at higher volume. And this combination has turned out to be optimal for me in terms of price/performance ratio. There isn't much to add as this amp is built specifically for the iLX-W650 so installation is pretty straightforward.

The Geek Team installed it with the Alpine speakers I bought with the Best Buy Alpine head unit. Alpine 445 and 450 power amps have run out, I have to wait until June 22nd for a third try to get this unit working too. A group of computer scientists solved the problem twice and it still doesn't work.

This was the perfect little amp, it fit right behind the head unit in my car. Wasn't really expecting much from it, but was really surprised when I cranked the volume on the head unit to just 50% and it was already loud. Clean up the sound to maximum volume and I didn't feel like I was loading the amp at all.

About a month and a half ago I installed ilx w650 and just yesterday added kta 450 and it really improves the sound quality of music. If you have an ilx-w650 and no amp, you're not going to get the best out of your music. I would also recommend a subwoofer to get the fullness out of your music.

You can't go wrong with this amp. This made a huge difference to my standard speakers. I paired it with an Alpine ilxw60, great combo, easy installation was a breeze. The only tricky part is setting the DIP switches for the different channels you want to use. Please read the instructions carefully for ease of installation and avoid damaging the amplifier itself. When the product arrived I was surprised by its size, which is very important since it can be installed almost anywhere.

According to the installer, the installation of the device was quick and easy. That was pretty much the only positive I have as the amp has been acting for the last 2 months. Sometimes the main unit would turn on, but there were no front or rear speakers (only the subwoofers were enabled). I would have to turn the car off a few times for the amp to "wake up" and the speakers to start working.
