Very smooth, best for car audio

If you're looking for a unique way to fill in blanks on your meter these are perfect for my 2 1/16" holes, me too for sure I liked that the center badge was removed on these tweets, leaving it up to me whether or not to install them.

Pros
  • Impedance: 6 ohms
Cons
  • Low repairability

I love these tweets!

I love these tweeters. They sound amazing, clear and crisp. I won't name the names but I had a pretty decent pair of tweeters before them and they sounded good but burnt out all the time so these Alpins sound better but it's early days. I got smarter with this purchase but I have a 3 year warranty plan that starts after the manufacturer warranty so I should be fine for a while. I've always had good luck with Alpine before I don't know why I switched to something else.

Pros
  • Sensitivity: 88 dB SPL
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great tweets! for auto and automotive electronics

I bought these tweeters to replace the factory muffled tweeters in my 2019 Ford Ranger. You can't place these tweeters in a door pillar without crashing into it. Rather than cutting, I took the tweeters out of the case and hot glued them in place of the factory ones, then added a round sponge behind the tweeter for extra support. They didn't rattle and held up well. At the moment there is no adapter for the factory wiring, so you need to connect the wires. Otherwise they sound great and the…

Broke in less than a year. Good luck contacting support

I've had these speakers less than a year. I noticed the one on the driver's side was moving and was no longer safe. I opened up the speaker to see what was going on and the back of the speaker holding it in place of the bracket broke. I went online to try and find a way to contact Alpine support to see if this is covered under warranty. and they are very difficult to catch. There's no email address to look up and when you finally find the number you see a long tree of phones which you look…

Great little speakers!

I installed these in the front door of my 2013 Mazda 5. The car originally came with OEM tweeters in the doors and I thought they would be good enough. OEM However speakers are only 25w RMS compared to 80w RMS for Alpine the difference in sound is more than noticeable although I have Alpine 5x7s down the door which have their own tweets they now produce more midrange hits now comes the majority of the high frequency tone. from these tweets. I had to drill a 2" hole to install them. As they are…
