I am decorating my bathroom and I need a water effect to add a relaxing atmosphere. This cascading fountain looks simple and natural. The noise level can be adjusted by changing the flow rate on the pump. The pump noise is moderate but does not drown out the ambient noise of the water. I have an intermediate/high level. I used distilled water as directed. This fountain was easy to install and the instructions were simple. I have this fountain running about 8 hours a day and so far it is working

VERY happy with this fountain! Like the others, it offers smooth and relaxing background noise, but what makes it a winner is that it does NOT splash onto the surrounding surface.
