🏕️ Convenient ALPS Mountaineering Zippered Tent Bag for Easy Storage and Transport Review

I ordered this bag to replace my torn tent bag. After reading the reviews I ordered a large one for my 4 person tent. The big one is huge. There is enough space for a tent, poles, flies and other things I want to put there. I was very surprised at the size after reading the reviews that said it was small. It's not small or too big for my tent, but it's just extra storage.

I don't understand how some of the reviews said this tent fits easily in a 6 person tent because I have a small 4 person dome tent and I tried it It's best to put it in this bag. The main problem is the length. If it were just 2cm longer it would fit much better. Eventually I was able to put the tent in my bag but I can't even pull it all the way up. If it weren't for the size issue, everything was fine. Still much better than the torn tent bag I had before. Just check the size next time.

This is one of those products that is difficult to judge by looks. I needed something more solid in construction and thickness. However, I understand that light is paramount for long expeditions. I wanted something more versatile and found that it has absolutely no structural integrity and minimal abrasion resistance unless you stuff it to the brim with other soft items like tents and fabrics.
