I bought this and forgot to look at the reviews (lack of them) until it had already shipped but DO NOT BUY THIS1. The mounting bracket was bent and it was a headache to install and uninstall2. Can't rgb just be a ring of color you can't change or connect to a controller (not intended anyway) 3. Cooling is terrible, idles at 60 degrees and crashes when trying to play a game, surface on the part of it comes in contact with the processor is tiny!

I needed something simple to keep my CPU cool. So far it's doing its job. Used for Intel i7 4970k, without overclocking. The default RGB is a rainbow ring, I can't customize it because my motherboard doesn't support it. Although it's good for my kids. This is a warning to all interested parties. The fan looks well built but I couldn't use it because the mounting system sucks and the awful little pins snapped easily when I tried to mount it on the motherboard. They also didn't fit my ASUS PRIME Z390-P motherboard no matter how hard I tried. This product supports LGA 1155, but the pins do not fit the holes. I ordered this for my Ryzen 5 3600X processor. Works quietly and fairly well. love the lights The only con I can think of is that she is not controlled by Aura. BUT it works great and the light is amazing.

installed in dell optiplex 7010 to cool i7 2600k. I used screws, washers and springs from the original Intel cooler to install in place of the plastic clip. it is quiet and cools well. The lights aren't programmable, but I'm not worried about them based on their application and availability.

This cooler does not work well with processors with a TDP above 65W. It did not work on my FX 8350. On my Ryzen 5 1600 AF, temperatures were 10 degrees hotter than the AMD stock cooler (high 40s to 50s idle). With the Intel 9100F, these were similar temperatures as with Intel coolers. Only pros are that it looks cool and it was cheap. I wouldn't overclock, maybe I would overclock to lower the temperature. The best choice would be Thermaltake U100.
