They are ok but the quality wasn't what I expected.

These earphones are good but the quality is not what I expected. The noise reduction feature doesn't work very well. It's more of a noise reduction effect. Sound quality is good, but not necessarily better than a pair of $50 Bluetooth headphones. They are very flexible and adapt to any size and shape of head or hat. They're heavy, but seem pretty strong. The cups sit comfortably on the ears. You have a great case. It comes with USB and auxiliary cable with adapter. They are conveniently stored…

Pros
  • Sturdy design

I was hoping for a lot more.

I've started comparing these headphones to my favorite Bose set and it's a bit unfair because there simply isn't a comparison. I was hoping to write a review that I'd just found a set of reasonably priced headphones that are just as good, but no way. Jose. Drop that comparison right away! I have a noise canceling MPow kit (MPow who?) for about $60. They lack bass but are very comparable and quite good. They are very comfortable, easy to put on and have nice padding. However, I'm surprised that…

Good bluetooth but noise canceling makes noise

Good looking headphones. They don't look cheap, fold up well and are quite comfortable when fitted correctly. At first my ear hurt but I widened the top a bit and now they fit comfortably. Bluetooth connects seamlessly and easily, so I can walk into the next room and still listen to my iPad, which is closer to the center, to pick up the sound. Wireless Internet access. Ideal for when I want to tidy up and listen to podcasts or YouTube. It charges fairly quickly, enough for a week of continuous…

Sounds good, but noise-cancellation needs work.

Given the name, I would have expected them to be a bit better. I've had Altec Lansing products in the past that have worked really well, but while these headphones are good, they're not great - at least compared to others. I have an old pair of Bose QC15s but of course I don't expect them to live up to that standard. On the other hand, I also have a pair of B07G83NN32 TaoTronics TT-BH047 that cost the same as this Altec Lansing pair and in some respects the TT pair performs better. That's…

5 star package for the price, with decent ANC

These are great headphones for the price. I'm not comparing them to $300 Bose headphones, but I think it's fair to compare them to my Cowen headphones, which are in the same price range. I find the ANC on my Cowens a bit better. While you can definitely notice a difference when it's on, you can still hear quite a bit. It definitely muffles the sound though, and when you're listening to music or a book they do a very good job of letting other noises fade into the background. I've been listening…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Reliability

These Altec Lansing Comfort Q+ headphones come in a large round zipped case. Inside is a body-mounted pocket for storing the 3.5mm cable, charging cable and splitter. (Use a splitter to connect it to a non-Bluetooth PC) The case is decent and holds the headphones when folded. They don't fold very tightly, so the case is a bit larger than I expected. The sound quality is pretty good. The bass is actually very good. I always play a test bass song with very low tones and most of the time the…

ANC is anemic - In-Ear Headphones

In the preface to this review I would like to say that I have owned and tested many headphones in the past. While that doesn't make me an audiophile or an expert, it still gives me a lot of good advice. Each use must have a different headphone type. If you are only interested in the Altec Lansing Confort Q review, you can skip the explanations below and jump straight into the review. Open, semi-open or closed headphones, what is that? - Open-back headphones are good for audiophiles. This…
