Revainrating 5 out of 5

5 star package for the price, with decent ANC

These are great headphones for the price. I'm not comparing them to $300 Bose headphones, but I think it's fair to compare them to my Cowen headphones, which are in the same price range. I find the ANC on my Cowens a bit better. While you can definitely notice a difference when it's on, you can still hear quite a bit. It definitely muffles the sound though, and when you're listening to music or a book they do a very good job of letting other noises fade into the background. I've been listening to my audio book with it for about 2 hours today and every time my husband (who was sitting next to me) spoke I had to stop the book and put them down to hear him; I have pretty good hearing so it's no small feat. ANC isn't as noticeable when on with no other noise as my other headphones (including Bose), but it may be useful for people (like my husband) who can't stand the hum/punch of ANC on his headphones. you are very good at it They work without activated/wired ANC when the battery is low. It's comfortable even though I have small ears. My husband's ears are larger and sit a bit more on the ear (they completely cover my ears). I fell asleep in it, so that's a good indication of their comfort. The included package makes them a winner. They come with a pretty good zipped pouch (hard, but not hard). They also come with a charger, cable connection and (a big bonus if you're on the go) an IFE adapter. None of my headphones, even the $200+ ones, came with an adapter. Everything you need to use them is included. Battery life is good. I haven't drained it but I've used them via Bluetooth for about 6 hours and they're still charged. When you turn them on, the voice will tell you how much battery power is left, which is very convenient. The Bluetooth connection is easy to set up and doesn't slow down or stutter. It is better than my Cowens in sound quality over a BT connection versus a wired connection. I'm not an audiophile; I just want a good (not flashy) sound. It's good. I can't speak for those who love top notch sound, but my husband and I are both happy with what we hear through them. My Panasonics without ANC are better for music, but for travel I would prefer ANC and these. We travel a lot and we consider noise-cancelling headphones to be a must for a smooth flight. We agree these are 5 star headphones for the price.
