I liked the design, very nice, but the charcoal tablets all came broken in the packaging and the resin is of cheap quality because when it burns it smells like burnt plastic. I have a good quality resin that I used afterwards and it didn't end up with a burnt plastic smell.

Large in size, shape and material, except for the interior decoration. Charcoal burns it, forming an ugly crust inside. I'd rather they just leave the interior uncoated. Otherwise the value is very good. The smell of incense is amazing. They burn for months, if not a year.

The item was much smaller than I should have realized but the charcoal didn't remain a burning press when it ignited, it climbed up the sides of the bowl. You could smell tar at all, it was just the smell of burning coal, and then it went away. Very disappointed, I was really looking forward to this housewarming gift for myself but it just didn't work out.

The ash pan is very pretty and well designed. I'm not a big fan of cheap, ugly plastic lids. Charcoal discs ignite quickly and easily and perfectly burn incense. This was my very first charcoal incense burner. It arrived very quickly and well packaged. It turned out to be a bit smaller than I expected, but of course that didn't affect its functionality. Used to smear loose incense. I use a small disc of charcoal and add some incense and resin. I like that this burner is secure and has a plate on the bottom to protect the surface of my altar. At first I thought it was bigger, but it does exactly what I need; and it burns/smudges just the right amount for the size of my room. I can definitely recommend this burner. As long as I like it However, when charcoal is ignited, they spark violently and heat up all of the charcoal. It sparkles like a wick on a firework.
