Comfort from the moment you put them on

I have never had such a comfortable shoe since I put it on. They're like walking/running with springs on your feet, but almost not even feeling like you're wearing a pair of shoes. I started wearing the 2.0 a few years ago after being told to stop running. My first pair of Altras proved it was the shoes I was wearing and not my body. Back then I couldn't run more than 1/2 mile, now I'm running long distances again and slowly picking up speed. I wanted to try a newer design as I had some wear…

    Pros
    • Muy buenas gomas, comosidimas para caminar, trotar y correr
    Cons
    • The toe box is too tight for the Altra product!

    Super comfortable, great for walking

I just received them but they are already the best running shoes I have ever had. I needed a supportive shoe with a large tow box that could breathe. You are perfect. The healing size is designed to support and hold you while walking. The front is designed to allow your towable pack to stretch and breathe as well. I like the yellow laces and sole as the gray color reminds me a bit of old velcro shoes. The gray insole is very similar in color to the shoe. In these photos it appears to be a…

    Pros
    • I like the square toe and the great arch support.
    Cons
    • Limited size available, only available in US size 9M.

    Functions! feedback from me

For me I had to add half a size up but it fits well. I bought these shoes as I had plantar fasciitis for 5 months and after trying cortisone injections, wraps, pads, p-therapy etc to no avail these shoes were recommended in a youtube video. The guy also had high arches just like me and also had no success with all recommended stretches etc. I tried 4 other brands of shoes to try and relieve this PF pain which was very bad every day. These shoes did it. I was surprised. I wear them exclusively…

    Pros
    • Very comfortable shoes, highly recommended 👍🏻
    Cons
    • Possible discomfort during long-distance running

    Please bring back the original!

Significantly narrower than five of the same size. I would like to increase the space for a larger size, but there is no such thing as a half size (13.5), the full size would be too big for the toes. I can feel a small hot spot on the lateral side that spreads along the ball of my foot, I think due to the narrower toe. I probably won't use them for long runs to avoid blisters. I would have preferred a gusseted tongue to a medium lace gimmick. I wish Altra would stop tightening their shoes. This

    Pros
    • I have a slightly ingrown toenail, these shoes work well for that and are very comfortable.
    Cons
    • No specifics for people with high arches or plantar fasciitis.

    Stop scatter decreased, bubbles appeared.

I've been using Altra for a few years now. I liked my first pair for the large toe splay area. This was my 5th pair of shoes and I started getting blisters on the inside of my foot on the forefoot after only 2 miles. Not sure if it's just this model or Altra is losing its edge. I hope this is the same model.

    Pros
    • Light and comfortable
    Cons
    • No color options available other than Burnt Orange

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    No better than Paradigm 5

Altra, like every other sneaker company, feels compelled to redesign their shoes every year or so. As for Altra's Paradigm line, it's been downhill since the Paradigm 4, which was a pretty good shoe (as was the 3). The Paradigm 5 was a step backwards - less comfortable, less durable - but it was okay. The 6 isn't all that different from the 5, but the changes are annoying: the 5 has lost the heel-loop, making the 6 a bit more difficult to pull on, and the 5's flat laces have been replaced with…

    Pros
    • Stylish: The bright orange color of the sneaker adds a touch of style to your gym wear.
    Cons
    • Limited color options for those who want to customize their look

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not as good as the previous generation

These shoes are good. Just not as good as the previous version of the Paradigm. We hope that ALTRA will listen to customer feedback and go back to the old style in the next generation.

    Pros
    • I like the wide toe and zero drop heel. I prefer them to last longer.
    Cons
    • Limited breathability due to the material used

Nothing but pain in my head

Got them over Christmas and I'm a traditional Brooks Adrenaline and Hoka Arahi user. For the past 2 years, I've had to stop running due to a knee injury and plantar fasciitis. I heard this brand is reliable running shoes and they will help. It didn't, I started with a 0.5 mile walk to the reservoir and already felt pain in my arch and feet. Now they are very comfortable, great for the joints but I still had pain in my legs. I started running but had to stop after 15 minutes because the pain was

    Pros
    • Me encanto este producto. Muy dressers.
    Cons
    • Shoes may not last many miles or runs.

Walk on the clouds! good for me

The best Altra I've ever tasted. This is my third pair of Altras, all in different styles, and they are by far my favorites. On the leg look a little ridiculous, very thick. However, the comfort far outweighs the somewhat odd looks.

    Pros
    • Improved Stability: The unique design of the shoe provides stability and balance while running and reduces the risk of injury.
    Cons
    • Limited cushioning, which can lead to joint pain

The best road cycling shoes in my review

These shoes are true to size and had the perfect cushioning for road running. I love that I can put them on and ride 5 miles with no problems if they break!

    Pros
    • Easy to wear
    Cons
    • May look clunky or unattractive on some runners

When you need a wide toe.

Altra shoes are the only ones that don't pinch my toes. Make sure you get the original fit - already wide. If you don't need a wide toe, I'm sure a regular fit will do. The shoes are very soft and comfortable. This model doesn't offer much support around the toes, making them very comfortable.

    Pros
    • Adequate Cushioning: The shoe is designed with enough cushioning to reduce the impact of each step while cushioning and supporting your feet.
    Cons
    • May be too tight for some foot shapes.

Amazing new review on my review.

The wide toe box and extra cushioning on the sole make this shoe incredibly comfortable. I had a bone problem before I found these insanely comfortable shoes.

    Pros
    • Durability: The shoes are made of high quality materials that make them strong and durable. Even after prolonged use, it retains its shape and comfort.
    Cons
    • Not recommended for people with overpronation or supination

The worst paradigm model so far

For the last 7 years I've exclusively worn Altra Paradigms. This is definitely the worst model yet. Feels different than previous models. I want them to go back to previous projects like Paradigma 5.

    Pros
    • So comfortable. Bought 2 pairs.
    Cons
    • Poor cushioning for heel strikers

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Works perfectly. good for me

At first I had a hard time finding comfortable running shoes. These shoes are very comfortable due to the wide toe box and good cushioning. But the soles are not very durable and I think they wear out quickly. Too bad they aren't stronger where they're needed. Overall I'm happy with them and I highly recommend them.

    Pros
    • Great all-round sneaker with lots of padding. - Doesn't feel bulky at all.
    Cons
    • Limited flexibility that can affect the natural movement of the foot

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Sole falls apart in less than 2 weeks

Incredibly expensive for disassembled shoes. I've been wearing them for exactly 2 weeks and the sole is dissolving. Disappointing.

    Pros
    • Perfect fit for my big feet and comfortable for my runs!
    Cons
    • Not the same as previous versions of the paradigm. Blisters on both legs after running 4 miles

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

The toe box is very wide, an unusual feeling when walking.

Thing is, I don't like the toe of the shoe, I'm just not used to it. The lacing sucks too, but that's probably just because they're new!

    Pros
    • Wide toe, great support
    Cons
    • The size may be smaller or larger than usual, which may cause discomfort.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

My rating is too big for my rating.

This is a good product but also an expensive product. I bought it online as it wasn't available in local stores. I had problems with my feet and a friend recommended these shoes to me because they fit him so well. I had to send it back but at that moment I was looking for shoes that would help my foot. My only advice is: before you leave a product, make sure it suits you.

    Pros
    • love it
    Cons
    • May cause blisters or hot spots with prolonged use

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wide Toe Box in my review.

I've been battling Morton's neuroma for years, tried the Altra brand a few years ago and they really helped - the extra wide toe box doesn't pinch. Great shoes!

    Pros
    • Ideal for long-distance running: The ALTRA AL0A5471 Paradigm 6 men's running shoe is ideal for long-distance runs. Cushioning and support help reduce foot fatigue so you can run further and longer.
    Cons
    • No shock absorbing ankle collar

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Comfortable but for an old man

Although the shoes were comfortable, I didn't like the shape of the sock. I couldn't really see it in the photo but it looks like an old man's shoes and I'm only 72 years old and full of energy. I chose Hawk Bondy 8.

    Pros
    • Comfortable and practical running shoe for everyone from beginners to advanced runners.
    Cons
    • No reflective or highly visible elements

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wide toe, cushioning, zero drop - just what the doctor ordered

Recommended by my podiatrist, I didn't need a camber, lots of padding and a wide toe box for my foot. They fit the bill and are what I wear almost 100% of the time for 6+ weeks, indoors and out. Great shoes. The only thing I can currently wear without pain. Being restricted in my activity level, I didn't hit them as hard as regular running shoes, solely for walking. They have held up well, no outsole split issues as some have mentioned. Previously there was the Hoka Bondi (also a great shoe)…

    Pros
    • The shoes are still comfortable. The next test is durability.
    Cons
    • Some runners may find the shoes too heavy.
