Review on ALTRA AL0A5471 Paradigm Orange Men's Running Shoes: Optimize Your Athletic Performance by Chris Fields

Significantly narrower than five of the same size. I would like to increase the space for a larger size, but there is no such thing as a half size (13.5), the full size would be too big for the toes. I can feel a small hot spot on the lateral side that spreads along the ball of my foot, I think due to the narrower toe. I probably won't use them for long runs to avoid blisters. I would have preferred a gusseted tongue to a medium lace gimmick. I wish Altra would stop tightening their shoes. This will probably be my last pair. Update: They are fine now after breaking in and many miles. I can't remember how long it lasted, probably about 50 miles or so before I've used them for a long time and had no problems. After putting it on for about 250 miles, I ran my first marathon with no problems. Now they have 375 miles on them and the only issue is wear on the outsole which seems to be a bit faster than the Paradigm 5 which have more rubber and a firmer compound.
