Easy to assemble, build quality is better than I expected. Very durable, very stable, shapely and fits on my desk. I highly recommend these stands. I've considered other dual pole stands, but these pedestal stands give me the most space to store and access my laptop.

Very easy to assemble, comes with extra screws which is nice, the stand is very strong and won't break if you press on it. Easy to move up and down, good non-slip grips. I haven't seen anyone use them for painting and it works really well. I have a lot of neck pain when I have to bend down to draw and that has helped a lot.

I use this to support a beatbox (NI Maschine 2) on the back of an expensive stage piano keyboard. I wouldn't do this if I didn't trust the mechanism or construction - if it fails, serious damage can result.
