Great performance for the price

This is a no frills branded dual heatsink set. I have one on Samsung 970 Pro M.2 NVME and the other on ADATA M.2 Sata. It works as it should. I saw a drop in temperature, but nothing out of the norm, around 7-8 degrees, according to my software readings. The installation is very simple, the heater fits perfectly and has no defects. The price and quality are amazing compared to some better known brand competitors. If you're a snob, spend double or triple to get the same result.

Great value, but how long do these strips last?

I installed them on two of my CORSAIR FORCE MP510 Series 480GB NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 SSDs up to 3480MB/s in the Cooler Master HAF XB EVO Test Bench Desktop Enclosure. At idle, my drives are in the 30-32C range. During the 1GB CrystalDiskMark x5 test, they run at around 42-44C. I find these heatsinks help keep temperatures down on my M.2 drives, but I am concerned about the durability of the rubber bands, especially in a hot environment. I'll let you know if you fail. I still give it 5 stars…

Spend a few bucks more and get a fan cooled heatsink

I bought this heatsink a month ago and installed it with no problems. Within a month I was unimpressed with the cooling performance of the radiator. My Samsung EVO Plus 1TB runs consistently hot (55-60 degrees with moderate usage). So I decided to order an active cooler (radiator with fan) and installed it today. When I logged into my system to remove the SSD (with that heatsink) I saw that all three rubber bands had snapped. All three fell apart - they were hard and had no elasticity. This…
