The first day I received this I found my dog hiding in the basement. This was due to the device constantly sending out a signal, the bark detection is defective or not working. While the noise effectively startles my dog, I don't need it all day. only after he barks. I had to wait 4 weeks to get it from China to find out it doesn't work as advertised.

This little box worked perfectly. When it arrived I loaded it up and introduced it to my dog. She didn't bark until we moved to a new house. She drove us crazy. All the clocks suddenly flash and bark! She didn't respond to orders to be quiet. As soon as I turned it on, I caught their attention. She was obviously startled by the sound. This device has caused so far: constantly running air purifier, ceiling fan slow that makes no noise, I go to bed and I suspect air molecules the way it worked several times for almost no purpose. It also gets away with barking, but isn't particularly effective at reducing barking if it's heard all the time. There's no way to lower the sensitivity, so basically we just leave it off unless the barking starts, at which point we turn it on. This is then effective, but largely defeats the purpose…
