Finally a depth gauge that fits a wide range of drill bit sizes!

Much better than depth gauge with set screw! If you have different sized drill bits, the set screw stoppers will tend to wobble on some of them if they aren't tight on the drill bit. Finally someone came up with a simple answer!

Really great gadget

works very well and is MUCH better than those simple massive cylinders which unless perfectly sized can't tip at an angle. This thing goes straight and holds like a vise which is great. LATER: I've been using it extensively for the past month and just can't say enough good things about it.

This item is expensive but works very well. If you need depth gauges, especially for odd sized bits, this is for you. One thing I was NOT happy with was that it didn't have an outlet to plug into! It might have been an accident, but I can't say for sure. When using it you want to adjust both screws evenly so the distance is about the same. This will give you the best possible fit. To be honest, this is overkill for most people. Many drill/screwdriver sets come with multiple depth gauges, and…
