Because it's plastic it doesn't weigh. If it slides, it will break off the pole. Aggravating. However, I have a white bar and I like the monochrome image of white on white.

The design is great in theory, but the plastic of this particular brand is so light that the hooks slip off the rod when you move the curtains. I keep attaching the hooks; I just bought an old hook that holds both the lining and the curtain, it's harder for my hands to work with, but at least I don't have to worry about putting the curtains back on after every shower! Not recommended!

Can't believe I found these in silver and plastic. Like other reviewers, I've had metal ones for years and have had to replace them at least once a year due to rust. However, these look the same. There weren't any issues with firmness, although they don't slide down the shower rail as smoothly as the metal ones. Trust me, it doesn't matter at all. Let's see what happens in a year, but even if they are slightly damaged, they still take this rust. Definitely the same price range.

When I got this I replaced the old rusty hangers I had when I installed them. I was excited! I think they are worth it but my biggest issue is that they fall off the rod easily when opening and closing the shower curtain. If the hook at the top was much longer and curved it wouldn't do it, but I think the purpose is to make taking the curtains off easier and they do. Even if you don't want it 😂 (this may be the cause of my eaves, but it still bothers me)

I wanted to replace our metal shower curtain hooks because they made a lot of noise when opening and closing the curtains, but I didn't want to sacrifice the look to get the traditional round plastic hooks . They are still a bit noisier than normal smooth round hooks due to the "balls" but much quieter than metal hooks and they look very nice. I also like that the hooks are reversible so you can attach the shower curtain and liner separately and easily change the liner.

I found all the metal of this style is always rusty and orange on the counter and shower curtain, my friend suggested I look for the plastic so here I am and they are way better than me thought to be lightweight plastic. I am satisfied and so far none of them have broken. I'm definitely not gentle with everything I own, so that's saying something.
