    Good quality CAT6 cables

    I find these CAT6 cables to be the most significant speed increase for my home network than any other upgrade I've made in years. I removed all my CAT5 cables and replaced them with 3ft + 5ft versions and my GB network went from 15MB/s to 70MB/s. The quality of the cable was just as good as it was in our server IT department where I helped out. All in all a good buy ;)

    Inexpensive network cables

    Inexpensive network cables. Not a super high level, but 99% of the time they will do their job perfectly. We have a few of these in the server room and they just work every time. You really can't ask for more.

    I noticed my Ethernet speed is slower than WiFi. It made no sense, I was using Revain Basics CAT6 but the speed was limited to 100Mbps. Bought a bunch of diagnostic equipment including a crimp kit and 100ft cable from another manufacturer. I tried my 100ft cable from my desktop to another room and immediately noticed that I could get a 1Gbps connection to my desktop from any prewired outlet. I've tried the new Revain Basics cables I bought here, up to 100Mbps! It runs 10x slower than advertised

    Perfect, but with a downside

    This is perfect for a mini home server like mine where I need to connect multiple devices to my router and also organize them. I bought these colored ethernet cables in combination with an 8-port TP-Link switch (which works for now). For connecting my NAS, Pihole, PS4 and various other devices via ethernet and cable, this is perfect. Since I have multiple devices connected and Pihole needs to be debugged from time to time, my cable management and organization on the server is much better. I…
