This iron smelled really bad. It never went away even after I ironed a lot of things. Water droplets were sprayed when the iron was moved back and forth to the iron. The red light was on and on all the time, that was pretty annoying too, but the smell was the worst. Didn't see it turn on or off, had to unplug to turn it off. The temperature sensor was in an awkward place and was difficult to read.

  • Absolute legend

DESIGNERS NEVER IRON!

GOOD: 1) Heats up very quickly 2) Light 3) Temperature disc doesn't change randomly like levers 4) Not overpriced BAD: 1) You can ONLY get your fingers on the temperature controller. Typical women's fingers are limited by the high curvature of the handle 2) The water supply line is too high - the iron will overflow at this level! 3) The water should be filled with the soleplate lying on the ironing board. When hot water is needed and more water is needed, it is unwise. 4) When the steam is…

Too light, not warm enough

Very bad product. It would be very warm, yes, too warm to touch safely, but not hot enough to iron really well. I had an old Sunbeam iron that my mom gave me 40 years ago. It was well formed, easy to handle, easy to manoeuvre, heated hot. It was great - for 40 years. Unfortunately, even good household appliances fail over time, and my Sunbeam iron finally did just that. I have yet to find a satisfactory replacement and believe me this iron will not be such a replacement.

quality control! suitable for irons

The product was defective, looks and acts like a refurbished product. I brought this new one, they sent that to me. It happens, but almost to the highest point. It keeps clipping and stops turning on at the bottom point. I didn't send it back because I was tired of returning the things they sent me in the last 3 orders. Was disappointed when I sent the security system back, received a replacement and it was defective. I emailed the company and the company said we didn't have any additional…

Suitable for sewing, suitable for ironing shirts.

I want to hate this iron but there are so many good things. Pros: Turns off after 8 minutes, but only when not in use. It beeps before shutting down. This is very helpful for those who sew as I can just go up and do a little ironing and it won't turn off. My last iron would turn itself off every 30 minutes and I had to plug it back in to restart. Has a lot of steam. Heavily crumpled linen flattened in seconds. The heating performance is good. Cons: Warming up takes forever. The red light goes…
