Amazon Essentials Long Sleeve Shawl Collar Cardigan Review

I bought this for my elderly father who is always cold even in 30 degree weather. It looks good and keeps him warm without overheating while still looking stylish. Dad weighs 195 pounds and is about 5ft 9 inches tall. He usually wears a medium to large shirt and the coat fits well without being tight or loose.

Love love love this sweater jacket. The outside is a cotton jersey sweatshirt and the inside is a soft cotton fleece. I bought one a year ago and it is now falling apart. I've been looking for it on the web for a long time. I can't express how happy I am that I finally found him again! I get multipliers. Pockets, buttons and a shawl collar are a must for me. Fabulous. Bought for my 17 year old. In this way, when we go to church or have dinner, he can look more dressed up without ceasing to be a child or wearing anything uncomfortable. Some kids wear sweaters, my athlete doesn't like them. He likes sweatshirt material so it was perfect. I wasn't sure if he would like it, but he does like it. He is 6ft 3in, 185, athletic and size XL fits perfectly.

As other reviews have noted, this sweater is very soft and made from sweatshirt material. I bought the XL as this size usually offers a little more room. However, I would classify this as a "comfortable" XL. If you want to wear something other than a thin shirt comfortably underneath I would recommend going up a size. Finally, I suspect the cuffs tend to stretch quickly when removed from the wrists and lifted on the forearms.

Fleece cardigan with a turn-down collar is perfect for lounging at home or as casual wear on cold days. It is made from high quality fleece and the large buttons give it an elegant, Victorian look. Just wearing it at home makes me want to start writing a novel and smoke a pipe. The black color is rich, the fleece is comfortable. It appears to be true to size and drapes well for an average build. It will most likely become my favorite casual jacket.

Ordered on October 17th. Delivery took 11 days. It was fine when I received it, pockets sat a bit high but it's just something presentable to keep warm anyway. The sleeves and waist length were good.
