Firstly they are probably suitable for cold climates but where am I from in Georgia (USA)? They are too thick and do not let air through for their main function (golf). Haggar offers a (more expensive) alternative that is much thinner and more breathable. Again, they may be ideal in colder climates, but they are useless for their purpose anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon line, and probably most places north of it during the summer.
