📺 Amazon Basics 60-Mile Range Amplified Indoor/Outdoor TV Antenna Review

Has many extras that most antennas don't need. Not ready to connect. power supply required. Doesn't reach noticeably further than any standard antenna. No additional channels.

We are 20 miles from Washington DC. Possibly 40km from most cell towers. We have 3 main networks but not 4. But a number of key programs are so pixelated that the antenna is useless. We kept it hoping that we might catch some sports but other than that, hmmm.

The rabbit antenna can receive channels that this antenna will not even reproduce. The rabbit antenna can receive channel 11, but this antenna does not receive such a channel. I tried turning this antenna in different directions several times - it still didn't show the channel after each TV sweep. I cannot recommend this antenna.

I bought this product expecting that its huge size would help me get many channels. I live in a city, so theoretically range shouldn't be an issue. This project is too big, annoying and usually not worthwhile. My 2019 QLED TV only has 11 channels. There are better antennas. This isn't the one you want. It might have performed better outdoors, so the caveat to my review is that I've only used it indoors.

Bought to replace a home made wire grid antenna which my wife didn't like. 40 miles from San Antonio with my homemade antenna. I managed to dial 37-40 channels on a good day. Installed this and was shocked to get 68 channels. For under $19 I couldn't beat it. Great buy and I'm sure it will do even better around town. *Update* A 5ft pole has been added, increasing the number of channels from 40 to 79. Worth it.

It turns out that this antenna is a bit redundant for us. We live 3 miles from downtown Chicago and this antenna picks up only two more channels than just screwing a coax cable into a TV and holding it up in the air. And when we connected this antenna to the power cable, the number of channels decreased by about 15 channels. But now we installed it on the roof without consuming extra power and it works great.

I bought this antenna from Revain inventory at a great price. It works as it should and I get a great picture. It was very easy to put together and I was able to watch free HD channels in about 20 minutes out of the box. Unfortunately, the outer mounting bar was missing in the box. I contacted the support team using the live chat feature and they did the right thing by refunding a small balance to my card. In general. It was a good buy. And I feel good knowing they value my business.

It might have been nice to have given it more space but it's not as good as another antenna I'm using at the same price. I hoped for the best. UPDATE: It's only getting worse: the supplied amplifier has failed. In a good way this has not happened. With or without food, it has prevented me from getting many channels.
