Doesn't work with my monitor

I found it better to buy an HDMI switch since my monitor supports an HDMI port and a Display port. So I connect both HDMIs to the splitter and this switch to the monitor and I can switch between sources from this switch.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • -

Works (almost) as it should

Using an old PC as an HTPC. It only has Displayport or VGA, so I was hoping that would fill the bill. The video is fine, but the sound is not transmitted. I did a bit of research but couldn't find out if my device supports audio over DP or if it's actually just video.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Not sure

Cheap and mostly works

Worked between Dell E6420 and Samsung UN55JS8500 55 inch except audio ticks Also worked great with Samsung UN40MU6290FXZA Only problem: ticks on 55 inch TV Better for the above TV than DisplayPort 2.02 Active HDMI 2.02 4K@60Hz adapter or DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 active male adapter

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Awesome!: Accessories and supplies

The HDMI ports on the laptops we buy just don't seem to last long. We're now using an old Thinkpad laptop with a DisplayPort-only connection to stream movies from the internet. However, our TV only accepts HDMI. With this simple converter from Revain, the work will be flawless. Both audio and HD video run smoothly. Fiction!

Worked for a while.

Bought this in July and it worked fine for a while until it died today. The picture was dimmer than just my only HDMI connection and my BIOS always loaded on the screen it was connected to rather than my main monitor. Was working fine until it died on reboot today. If you don't have enough HDMI ports, it's probably better to look for a better adapter or buy a monitor with DisplayPort.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing

Works with Cisco DX80 Video Endpoint.

I used this to connect my desktop PC to a Cisco DX80 video endpoint. The DX80 only has HDMI inputs and comes with an HDMI/USB cable, but the HP desktop doesn't have any of these video outputs. This was a great solution to a common problem. In addition, the HP desktop computer supports audio through the display port, and this adapter allows you to stream audio through HDMI to the DX80's built-in speaker.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Can break

Works with audio and video accessories

Did what I needed. My surround sound system does not support HDR with 4k (not HDMI 2.0a). My computer and TV work, so I don't want to stream video through the receiver. My graphics card has an HDMI output and multiple Displayport outputs, but the TV and receiver are HDMI only. Now I run video from the HDMI output straight to my TV for 4k HDR and use this adapter to pass the surround sound from the Displayport output to my receiver via HDMI. Problem solved and no new receiver needed.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • A little torn

Smooth Client Meeting

Just make sure you want your signal to go from the DisplayPort side to the HDMI side. In my case, this meant moving an HP laptop to an HDTV so the client could present meeting footage. This cable was backup, and lo and behold, the customer forgot his own adapter, a subcontractor, for a long time to save the day. Pros: + Best value in the $9 price range + No extra flakes. Cons: - Short hard cable, you can't bend it left to right. laptop and you will need to adjust the meeting points depending on

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Great for any kind of use.

I have a configuration consisting of two HP Pavilion 27xw 27" IPS LED backlit monitors. I connected both to the same Nvidia GeForce 980 TI. I had to add a Displayport to Use HDMI adapter as the 980 TI only had one HDMI port Monitor (A) connected via an adapter shows washed out colors compared to monitor B which is connected via an HDMI port This was noticeable First up when I changed my desktop background to black. I read reviews that some HP monitors showed washed out colors. To make sure that
